We believe that systems designed to solve homelessness and housing insecurity are most effective when our neighbors with lived expertise have opportunities to lead the way in decision-making and changemaking. We are committed to center our work on the voices of people with lived expertise.

We believe that our neighbors are entitled to agency in where they live. We are committed to promote the dignity and civil rights of people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.

We believe our community must act intentionally to eliminate barriers to housing stability that disproportionately impact people of color. We are committed to uproot the structural and systemic racism that drives higher rates of homelessness and housing insecurity in communities of color. 

We believe that our community has a collective responsibility to reframe, recast, and refresh existing narratives about homelessness and housing insecurity. We are committed to dismantle false narratives that perpetuate harm against people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.

We believe that our community can choose to rise together to solve homelessness and housing insecurity. We are committed to inspire our community to make bold moves to solve homelessness and housing insecurity for once and for all.   

We believe that trauma is sometimes a cause of homelessness and housing insecurity and is always a result. We are committed to rallying our community to honor and respond to the trauma of homelessness and housing insecurity.
